Hear the acclaimed choir of Hong Kong Baptist University, an ensemble that
has achieved great success in China and abroad and who will appear in
Melbourne on their first Australian tour.
Joining this award-winning ensemble will be two of Melbourne.s leading
tertiary choruses - the one-hundred-voice Melbourne University Choral
Society, and the Australian Catholic University Choir, both under the
direction of Andrew Wailes.
Performing an impressive recital of choral music from many different
traditions, this concert will feature sacred masterpieces by composers
including Mozart, Bruckner, Rachmaninov, Victoria (Vittoria) and several
Chinese composers.
Don.t miss this rare opportunity to hear almost 200 young voices
performing on stage in the newly-renovated splendour of Central Hall.
