as well as Christmas Carols concerts in Melbourne City, glorious miniatures by composers including Anton Bruckner, Sir John Rutter, Gabriel Faure, W.A. Mozart. Henry Purcell, Christopher Willcock and much more.
In 2024 MUCS performed a number of major symphonic concerts. These include Carl Orff's masterpiese CARMINA BURANA and Australian composer Carl Vine's epic CHORAL SYMPHONY (No. 6) on Sunday 19th May at Melbourne Town Hall with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Orchestra, RMP Choir and National Boys Choir of Australia and three of Australia's finest soloists.
In August MUCS performed Mozart's glorious MASS IN C MAJOR ("CORONATION MASS") K.317 at the spectacular Deakin Edge, Federation Square, and in September the choir participated in a sumptuous Symphonic Spectacular in the magnificent setting of St Paul's Cathedral with works including Dvorak's glorious Te Deum and Leavitt's Missa Festiva.
In December MUCS performed as part of three large sold out CAROLS IN THE CATHEDRAL concerts in St Paul's Cathedral, with the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Choir and Orchestra and National Boys Choir of Australia.
